Macadamia White Chocolate Bread
2/3 cup milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons margarine or butter
3 cups bread flour
2 tablespoons sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon active dry yeast or bread machine yeast
1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts
2 ounces white baking bar — chopped
White Chocolate Glaze:
1 ounce white baking bar — cut up
1 teaspoon shortening
Dark Chocolate Glaze:
1 ounce semisweet chocolate — cut up
1 teaspoon shortening
Select loaf size. Add first 10 ingredients to the machine according to the manufacturer’s directions. Select the basic white bread cycle. Drizzle the cooled loaf with White Chocolate Glaze, then Dark Chocolate Glaze.
White Chocolate Glaze: Heat white baking bar and shortening over low heat until melted.
Dark Chocolate Glaze: Heat semisweet chocolate and shortening over low heat until melted.
NOTES : For the 1-1/2 pound loaf, the bread machine pan must have a capacity of 10 cups or more.
