Butterscotch Nut Bread
1 Cup brown sugar
1 egg
1-1/2 Tbsp melted butter
2 Cups sifted flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 Cup sour milk
1/2 Cup chopped walnuts
Mix sugar and egg. Add butter.
Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with milk to the sugar mixture. Add nuts.
Turn into a well-greased loaf pan, top with whole nuts
Bake 1 hour at 350°
