Spicy Herb Breadsticks

3 cups Bisquick baking mix
2/3 cup hot water 120-130 degrees
1 egg white slightly beaten
1 tablespoon grated Romano and Parmesan
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Heat oven to 350F. Grease 2 cookie sheets.

Mix baking mix and water, beat vigorously 20 strokes.

Turn dough onto surface generously dusted with baking mix; gently roll in baking mix to coat. Knead about 60 times or until smooth and no longer sticky.

Pat dough into rectangle, 18×12 inches. Brush with egg white.

Mix remaining ingredients; sprinkle evenly over dough. Gently press herb mixture into dough.

Cut dough crosswise into 18 strips, 12×1 inch. Twist each strip 3 or 4 times. Place 1/2 inch apart on cookie sheets; press ends on sheet to fasten securely.

Bake about 10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm;

Makes 18 breadsticks.
