Gaucho Barbecue Sauce
1 cup catsup
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 or 3 dashes Tabasco sauce
1 cup water
1/4 cup vinegar
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
Combine all ingredients. Simmer 30 min. Makes enough sauce for basting 4 pounds loin back ribs or spareribs. Don’t omit the celery seed–its a key ingredient.

This is a very old recipe. My mother used to make it and she gave it to me over 50 years ago when I married. It is easy, tasty and great on ribs and chicken. It’s the only sauce recipe I’ve ever needed!
