Apple Pie
4 large yellow apples
1 9-inch pie crust
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 pint whipping cream
Grate apples into pie crust. Do not mash down.
Mix together sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch and whipping cream. Pour over apples in shell.
Bake 350° F. for 45 to 60 minutes or until apples test done.
Makes own topping.
Yields 8 servings.
