Fried Corn Cakes
3 ears of fresh corn on the cob
1 C. flour
1 C. sugar
1/2 C. milk
1 t. salt
1/4 t. freshly ground black pepper
Cut the corn from the cob, then scrape the cob with the back of your knife to get the milk juices out.
Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl and mix all ingredients together.
Add some oil to a hot skillet. (bacon grease is real good for this) Cook as if you were making pancakes.
