Teriyaki Kabobs

1/3 cup soy sauce
2 Tbsp oil
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp seasoned salt
1-1/2 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-1/4″ cubes
12 whole fresh mushrooms
1 green pepper, cut into 1-1/2″ pieces
1 onion, wedged
12 cherry tomatoes
hot cooked rice

In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oil, brown sugar, garlic, ginger & salt.

Mix well.

Pour half of this in a zip bag.

Add beef and turn to coat.

Seal and chill 4-8 hours.

Turn occasionally.

Cover and chill the other half of the marinade.

To prepare, drain meat and discard meat marinade.

On metal or soaked bamboo skewers, alternate meat, mushrooms, green pepper, onion and tomatoes.

Grill uncovered over medium high heat for 3 minutes per side.

Baste with reserved marinade and continue grilling, turning, and basting for 8-10 minutes, or till meat reaches desired doneness.

Serve meat and vegetables with rice.
