Chicken Pilgrim Pie

4 cups cooked turkey or chicken chunks
1 cup frozen peas
1 cup frozen corn
2 cans turkey gravy (2 1/4 cup)
1/4 cup snipped chives, divided
1 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme
4 cups mashed potatoes

Preheat oven to 400ºF.

In a large bowl, mix turkey, peas, corn, gravy, 2 tbl of chives and thyme. Turn into a shallow 2-1/2 to 3 qt baking dish; set aside.

In microwave safe dish, warm potatoes on 100% power; mix in remaining chives. Cover mixture with potatoes. Place on baking sheet.

Bake at 400ºF about 25 minutes until turkey mixture is bubbly and potatoes begin to brown.

Serve with cranberry sauce, if desired.
