Country Chicken Casserole
3 cups shredded hashbrowns
1 6oz can fried onions, divided
6 1 oz slices American Cheese
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves-cut into bite-size pieces
1 can cream of chicken soup 1/2 soup can milk
1 16oz can whole kernel corn drained
Preheat oven, 375 F
Stir hash browns and 1/2 onions together in 9×13 baking dish. Lay cheese slices on top and layer chicken over cheese.
In small bowl, mix soup & milk together. Pour on top.
Bake for 30- 35 minutes until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
Pour corn onto chicken and stir to combine all ingredients. Bake for an additional 20 minutes.
Sprinkle remaining onions over all and bake for another5 minutes or until onions are golden brown.
Let sit 5 minutes before serving.
