Crab Cakes with Creamy Pea Sauce
Today’s dinner was crab cakes over egg noodles with a creamy pea dill sauce. It can be ready in less than 30 minutes! I got the crab cakes premade from Sam’s Club. They are made by Daily Chef and are in the freezer case. After I bought these I looked at cans of crab in my grocery store just to compare and these are truly a bargain. A small can of lump crab meat was over $11.00! Seriously who buys that?
While the crab cakes are baking make the creamy pea sauce and cook the egg noodles. I had gone yesterday to my local farm market and have a big clam shell full of fresh herbs so I decided some dill would be a great addition to the cream sauce. I used frozen peas in the sauce which I added just before serving.
