Chocolate Brownie Pecan Tarts
Tarts:
1 C. butter
6 oz. cream cheese
2 C. all-purpose flour
Cream butter and cream cheese together until well blended. Add flour just until mixed in. Press into desired size tart pan.
Filling:
2/3 C. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 T. butter
1/3 C. sugar
1 C. light corn syrup
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 t. vanilla
1 1/4 C. pecans, chopped
Melt chocolate chips and butter in double boiler. Stir in sugar, corn syrup, eggs and vanilla until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into unbaked tart shells. Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350°F. or until filling is firm.
