2 1/2 C. chocolate chips
6 T. flour
1/2 t. baking powder
3/4 C. sugar
2 T. corn syrup
Melt 1 1/4 C. chocolate chips in the microwave for 1 1/2 minutes. Stir every 30 seconds. Cool for 15 minutes.
Mix flour and baking powder in a small bowl. In a medium bowl beat sugar, corn syrup with a mixer until thick. Gradually beat in melted chocolate. Add dry ingredients. Add in remaining chocolate chips. Place bowl in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 3 large baking sheets with foil and butter the foil. Drop dough by tablespoons at least 3 inches apart and 7 cookies to a cookie sheet.
Bake until cookies are cracked on top, about 15 minutes. Let cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes and then transfer them to a rack to cool completely.
