Cinnamon Raisin Nut Squares
1 stick salted butter
1/2 cup enriched all-purpose flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cups old-fashioned oatmeal
1 egg
3 tablespoons skim milk
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup cinnamon raisins
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
Mix all ingredients in order given, into a thick, sticky dough.
Pour into a greased 8-inch square pan and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
Cool and slice into 2-by-4-inch bars.
Makes 8 servings.
