PBR Energy Bars
1/2 C. butter or margarine, softened
1 C. packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla extract
1/3 C. cocoa
1/4 C. milk
1 C. whole-wheat flour
1/4 C. nonfat dry milk powder
1/4 C. wheat germ
1/2 t. baking powder
1/4 t. baking soda
1 2/3 C. (10-oz. package) peanut- butter chips
1/2 C. raisins
Heat oven to 350° F. Grease 13-by-9-inch baking pan. Beat butter, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla in large bowl until light and fluffy. Blend in cocoa and milk. Stir together whole-wheat flour, nonfat dry milk powder, wheat germ, baking powder and baking soda; add to butter mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in peanut-butter chips and raisins.
Spread batter evenly into prepared pan. Bake 30-35 minutes or until bars begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
