Sugar-Free Apple Muffins

2 C. all-purpose flour

2 t. baking powder

2 t. ground cinnamon

1 t. ground cloves

1 C. apple cider

1/2 C. honey

1 egg

1 C. finely chopped apple

Preheat oven to 350° F. Lightly grease 12 standard muffin baking pans.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon and clove. Add cider, honey and egg; mix until dry ingredients are moistened. Fold in apples.

Spoon into 12 muffin baking pans. Bake for 15 to 23 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into center of a muffin comes out clean.

Makes 12 muffins.
