Banana Split Pie

3 medium bananas

1 baked 9 inch pie shell

1 qt. strawberry ice cream

1 qt. vanilla ice cream

3/4 C. fudge topping

1 pint heavy cream whipped with 3 T. sugar

1/2 C. chopped salted pecans

1/2 of a small jar of maraschino cherries

Slice bananas into pie shell, spread evenly over bottom. Spoon the strawberry ice cream over the bananas, mounding slightly in the center. Top with the vanilla ice cream. Freeze until ready to serve.

To serve, cut pie into 10 pieces. Garnish each piece with a dollop of fudge. Top with whipped cream, nuts and cherries. Serve.
