German Chocolate Ice Cream

4 eggs

2 cups sugar

1 quart light cream (I use half-and-half)

3/4 cup chocolate syrup

1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1 quart whole milk

3/4 cup chopped pecans

3/4 cup flaked coconut

1/2 teaspoon salt

In mixer bowl, beat eggs until light. Add sugar; beat well until combined.

Add cream, chocolate syrup, vanilla and salt. Beat well.

Stir in milk, pecans and coconut.

Using 4-5 qt ice cream freezer, freeze ice cream according to directions.

Makes 4 quarts
