Ice Cream Sandwich Freeze
19 Ice Cream Sandwiches
12-oz. container frozen whipped topping, softened
12-oz. jar hot fudge topping
1 cup salted peanuts (maraschino cherries, banana slices, etc.)
Place a layer of ice cream sandwiches in the bottom of a 9-inch by 13-inch pan. Cut one sandwich in half to fit along the short side of the pan.
Spread a layer of whipped topping over the sandwiches. Spoon a layer of hot fudge topping over the whipped cream. (It’s easy to place a few spoonfuls over the whipped cream, then microwave the hot fudge sauce for a few minutes and drizzle the melted sauce over the top of the whipped cream.) Sprinkle the salted peanuts over the top of the hot fudge. Place a final layer of ice cream sandwiches over the top.
Freeze for at least 3 hours before serving. May freeze for up to two weeks, removing the dessert from the freezer about 10 minutes prior to serving.
