Oreo Sherbet Dessert

2 lbs. Oreo cookies

1 stick melted butter or oleo

1/2 gallon sherbet

Two 8 oz. containers Cool Whip

Crush cookies, pour melted butter over and mix.

Put in 9 x 13 inch pan; press down.

Mix softened sherbet and Cool Whip, pour over cookie mixture and freeze.

Store in freezer; cut off portions as needed.

Freeze the rest.
