Stuffed Hamburger Rolls

8 unsliced French bread sandwich rolls

1 lb. ground beef

1/4 C. chopped onions

2 garlic cloves minced

1 egg slightly beaten

3 T. fresh parsley chopped

1- 2 t. prepared mustard

2 T. water

3/4 t. salt

1/2 t. oregano

pepper

2 T. butter

Preheat oven to 375°F. Cut off end of each roll. Hollow out the roll. Crumble the bread into a bowl.

Brown the ground beef in a skillet. Drain the fat off. Add the onions and 1/2 of the garlic. Cook until tender.

Add the ground beef to the bowl with the bread. Add the egg, parsley, mustard, water, salt, oregano and pepper. Stir to combine. Spoon the mixture into the hollowed out rolls.

Melt the butter, add remaining garlic. Brush the butter mixture over the rolls.

Bake for 20 minutes.
