1/2 cup sour cream
1/3 cup finely diced cucumber
1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 pound ground beef
1/3 cup chopped fresh mushrooms
1/3 cup chopped green onion
1/3 cup BLACK LABEL® Bacon cooked crumbled
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
8 slices pumpernickel bread buttered on one side
4 slices Jarlsberg or Swiss cheese
8 slices tomato
Prepare grill for medium-hot direct heat cooking. In small bowl, combine sour cream, cucumber, horseradish, and nutmeg.
In large bowl, combine ground beef, mushrooms, green onion, bacon, and black pepper; mix well. Divide into 4 portions and shape into patties.
Brush rack of grill with oil. Place patties on grill. Cook 4 minutes or until browned on bottom. Turn. Cook 4 minutes longer or to desired doneness. During last few minutes of cooking, place bread slices buttered side down on grill to toast lightly.
Place a cheese slice on each patty to melt. Spread sour cream mixture on toasted side of each bread slice. Place patties on 4 bread slices.
Top with 2 tomato slices and remaining bread slices, sour cream side down.
