Golden Chicken Nuggets

4 – 6 whole chicken breasts, boned and skinned

1 C. unseasoned bread crumbs

1 C. grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 t. salt

2 t. thyme crumbled

2 t. basil

1 C. butter melted

Cut each breast half into nuggets about 1 1/2 inches each. Combine bread crumbs, cheese, and seasonings together in a pie plate.

Dip each chicken piece in the butter and then roll them in the crumbs mixture.

Place nuggets on a greased baking sheet in a single layer. Do not crowd.

Bake at 400°F. for 10 – 12 minutes. Turn once during cooking.

Serve with your favorite dipping sauces.

Serves 8 – 10 as an appetizer.
