Meatballs

5 lbs. Hamburger

1/2 pound crackers

2 C. onions

5 t. salt

1/3 t. pepper

6 eggs

1 C. ketchup

Mix well and roll into balls. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet and bake at 350°F. 15 minutes. Cool.

Sauce

40 oz. tomato sauce

2 1/2 C. ketchup

2/3 C. brown sugar

2/3 C. onion

2/3 C. relish

2/3 C. water

2/3 C. worcestershire sauce

5 T. vinegar

pepper to taste

Bring sauce to a boil and simmer for 1 hour. Add meatballs to sauce. simmer 1/2 hour more. At this point you can refrigerate or place in a warming dish. Be careful not to overcook these or they will lose their shape.
