Cheeseburger Rice

1 pound lean ground beef
1 onion chopped
2 cups water
2/3 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 cups instant rice
4 ounces Cheddar cheese sliced

In a large skillet, brown ground beef and onion; drain off fat.

Stir in water, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.

Stir in rice; cover.

Remove from heat. Let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork.

Top with cheese; cover. Let stand for 3 minutes or until cheese melts.
