Pork Chops with Corn Stuffing

4 pork chops

2 T. oil

salt & pepper to taste

1/2 C. chopped onion

1/4 C. minced celery

1 C. soft bread crumbs

1 can cream style corn

1/4 C. green pepper, chopped

Brown pork chops in the oil in a heavy skillet. Salt and pepper to taste. Remove to a baking dish.

In the same skillet, sauté the celery tops and onion two minutes. Add the corn and green pepper. Season to taste and stir with a fork. Pile the stuffing on top of the chops. Pour 1/3 cup water around the chops.

Bake uncovered at 375°F. for 40-45 minutes.
