Homemade Shake and Bake for Pork Chops
4 C. all-purpose flour
4 C. crackers, crushed fine with a rolling pin or pulverized in food processor
4 T. salt
1/2 t. black pepper
3 T. sugar
2 t. garlic powder
2 t. onion powder
3 T. paprika
1/4 C. vegetable oil
Place all ingredients in a large bowl and stir with a wire whisk until well blended. Store indefinitely in a covered container in refrigerator.
To use, pour mix as needed into large bag. Dip pork chops in milk or water, then shake in coating and bake.
Makes 6 bags that will each coat 4 chops or pieces of chicken.
