Fudge Pie Recipe
3/4 stick butter, softened
1 1/2 C. sugar
3 eggs at room temperature
1/8 t. salt
3 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
1/3 C. sifted all-purpose flour
1 1/2 t. vanilla
1/3 C. chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Cream butter. Add sugar gradually. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well after each addition. Add salt and chocolate. Blend and add sifted flour and vanilla.
Pour batter into well-greased and floured pie pan. Spread to level. Sprinkle nuts on top. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
