Maple Pecan Pie

Maple Pecan Pie

3 eggs

1 cup maple syrup

1 cup dark brown sugar

2 tablespoons flour

1/8 cup melted butter (1/4 stick)

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 1/4 cups shelled pecans

9 inch shallow frozen pie shell (not deep dish)

Beat evenly all but pecans until mixture is blended.

Place pecans evenly into pie shell.

Pour egg mixture into crust.

Place pie on cookie sheet and bake it in a 350ºF oven for about 45 minutes or until pie is set and crust is browned.

Serve at room temperature with an optional dollop of whipped cream.

Serves 8-10.
