Ham and Cheese Pasta Salad

I love pasta salads anytime of year but especially in the summer. This one can be put together in about 20 minutes including the cooking time for the pasta. I made this one to go with some Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin I made for sandwiches in the crock pot the other day. They paired perfectly together.

Ham and Cheese Pasta Salad

This pasta salad is so easy to put together. No real chopping of veggies in this one. You will need to cube the cheese but that’s about it. I used a corn salsa I got at Trader’s Joe and it added a touch of spice, beyond that you need frozen peas, sweet relish, ham cubes and cheddar cheese. It is dressed with mayonnaise but you could use yogurt or sour cream if desired to your tastes.

What a nice twist on macaroni salad! This is the same pasta my mom always used for her macaroni salad. Love the addition of ham and cheese, and corn relish is inspired! Please come share your blog posts over at the Home Matters Linky Party! We’d love to have you for a visit. The Door is OPEN.
