Pot Roasted Pork
1 pork roast, 4-5 lbs
salt and pepper
1 clove garlic (or more)
2 medium onions, sliced
2 bay leaves
1 whole clove
1 cup hot water or broth
2 tbsp soy sauce
Salt & pepper pork and cut small pockets in the meat all over the roast. Stick sliver of garlic into these pockets.
Broil roast for 15-20 minutes to remove excess fat.
Put 1 sliced onion into the bottom of crockpot. Add browned roast and then remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours.
When done, remove roast and strain broth before making gravy.
