Crockpot Tamale Casserole 

1 lb. ground pork

1/2 lb. ground beef

1 large onion, chopped

1/3 C. oil

28-oz. can whole tomatoes

1 cup corn meal

1 can whole kernel corn

2 eggs

1 t. garlic salt

1 T. chili powder

Spray crockpot with nonstick cooking spray.

Brown pork and beef, drain and set aside.

Sauté onions in oil. Puree tomatoes in blender. When onions are slightly brown, add tomatoes. Stirring well, add corn meal very, very slowly. Stir constantly to prevent lumping. Add meat and corn.

Beat eggs lightly and add with spices. Pour into crockpot.

Cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours.
