Cheeseburger Chowder

Cheeseburger Chowder

1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
4 cups milk
2 cups grated American cheese
1 cup hash brown potatoes
1 teaspoon black pepper

In a saucepan brown the beef and onions; drain.

In a large saucepan stir milk and cheese over medium heat until boiling. Turn to simmer and add beef mixture, hash browns and pepper. Simmer for 20 minutes.
