Rum Bundt Cake

Rum Cake

1 pkg yellow cake mix

1 pkg instant vanilla pudding mix

4 eggs

1/2 c salad oil

1/2 c water

1/2 c rum

1/2 c chopped pecans

Glaze (recipe below)

Mix ingredients through rum about 2 min. Combining well. Arrange pecans on bottom of greased tube or bundt pan. Pour in batter and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Remove from oven and pierce thoroughly with toothpick. Immediately pour glaze over top. Cool completely before removing cake from pan.


1/4 lb butter
1 c sugar
1/4 c water
1 oz rum

Boil butter, sugar and water for 1 min. Remore from heat and add rum.
