12 oz. linguine
1 lg. bunch broccoli (7 cups) stems cut in bite size piece & florets cut small
3 pieces bacon
1 cup milk
1 Tbsp. flour
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup parmesan cheese (fresh grated)
2 tsp. minced garlic
1 tsp. fresh ground black pepper
2 Tbsp. butter
Cook pasta 6 minutes. Add broccoli to pasta and water, cook 2-3 minutes until soft.
Cook bacon drain and crumble. Add broth and garlic to a skillet. Simmer until garlic is soft.
Whisk flour into milk in small bowl. Add to broth and simmer.
Add butter, pepper and cheese to pot. Pour broth mixture over pasta and broccoli. Toss.
