Buffet Noodles
1 8-oz pkg. noodles (cook and drain)
1 pt small curd cottage cheese
1/2 pt sour cream
1 Cup grated sharp cheese
1/2 Cup chopped onion
1/2 Cup chopped celery
1/4 Cup margarine
salt and pepper to taste
4 eggs, well beaten
While noodles are cooking, sauté the onion and celery in margarine.
After noodles are cooked and drained, add the onion, celery and all remaining ingredients except the well beaten eggs.
Turn mixture into well-greased casserole (9×13 inch). Then, just before placing in oven, pour the eggs over the noodle mixture.
Bake at 325° F. 40 minutes or until crisp on top.
Can be prepared ahead – except for eggs. Add just before placing in oven.
