Creamy Chicken With Fettuccini
3-4 chicken breasts cut in cubes
3 leaks sliced (greens also)
4 cloves garlic minced
1 can whole mushrooms cut in 4’s
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/4 cup olive oil
1 small container Half and Half
1/2 jar prepared spaghetti sauce
1 pkg. fettucini noodles cooked as directed
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup white wine if desired
In a large skillet heat 1/2 oil. Add garlic and red pepper. Stir continuously, add chicken and cook till no longer pink.
Add leaks cook till translucent
Add mushrooms and salt and pepper, heat 2 minutes
Add Half & Half and 1-2 cups pasta sauce.
Simmer on low for 15 minutes serve over noodles.
Serves 4.
