Italian Style Meatloaf
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup Parmesan flavored dried bread crumbs
1/4 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 350° F.
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, bread crumbs, ketchup, Italian seasoning, oregano, basil, garlic salt, diced tomatoes, and cheese. Mix together. Shape into a 9×5 inch loaf pan, and cover loosely with foil.
Bake for approximately 1 hour, or until done. Internal temperature should measure 160° F.; the meat should be browned through, and the juices clear.
