Three Nuts Apricot Bread

1 cup milk
1 tablespoon walnut oil — or butter
1 tablespoon honey
1 large egg
1/2 cup dried apricots — quartered
1/2 cup blanched almonds — chopped
up to 1 1/2 cups
1/2 cup pecan halves — or pieces
1/2 cup walnut halves — or pieces
or hazelnuts — chopped
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour — unbleached
3/4 cup unprocessed wheat bran
2 teaspoons vital wheat gluten
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
large loaf:
1 1/2 cups milk
2 tablespoons walnut oil — or butter
2 tablespoons honey
1 large egg
1 cup dried apricots — quartered
3/4 cup blanched almonds — chopped
up to 2 1/4 cups
3/4 cup pecan halves — or pieces
3/4 cup walnut halves — or pieces
or hazelnuts — chopped
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour — unbleached
1 cup unprocessed wheat bran
1 tablespoon vital wheat gluten
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Pour all wet ingredients into bread machine baking pan. Measure all other ingredients except yeast into baking pan. Sprinkle yeast over dry ingredients, being careful not to get yeast wet. Use rapid bake cycle on your machine for this loaf.

YIELD: 1 Loaf
