Glazed Bacon

1 lb. thick cut bacon

1 T. brown sugar per slice of bacon

Preheat the oven to 350° F. Lay out the bacon on a baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. Pour off the fat.

Sprinkle a tablespoon of brown sugar over each piece of bacon. Return bacon to the oven for 10 minutes. Turn the bacon over and bake for 2 – 3 more minutes.

Watch the bacon carefully so that it doesn’t overbrown. The sugar can turn dark in a minute.

Remove bacon from the oven and place it on a plate. Cool slightly.
