Bacon and Tomato Bread

1 C. water

1/4 C. snipped dried tomatoes (oil-packed)

1 T. olive oil or cooking oil

3 C. bread flour

1/4 C. cooked bacon pieces

1 T. sugar

3/4 t. salt

3/4 t. dried basil, crushed

1 t. active dry yeast or bread machine yeast

Add the ingredients to a 1-1/2- or 2-pound bread machine according to the manufacturer’s directions. Select the basic white bread cycle and desired color setting.

Makes one 1-1/2-pound loaf.
