Apricot Chicken Louise

1 broiler fryer chicken, cut in pieces
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 jar apricot jam
1 teaspoon soy sauce
Dash worcestershire
Pinch of garlic salt

Season chicken parts well; place in baking pan.

Put remaining ingredients in saucepan; mix well and simmer for a few minutes until well mixed.

Spoon sauce generously over chicken.

Place uncovered in a preheated 425-degree oven for 10 minutes.

Lower heat to 325 degrees and bake for 45 minutes to an hour or until crisp and well done.

Baste once or twice during the cooking period but don’t turn the chicken.

Makes 4 servings.
