Sesame Cauliflower Sauté
1 head of cauliflower (about 2 lbs.)
1/4 cup sesame seed
4 tablespoon butter
1 small onion chopped
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup sliced green onions
1/4 cup chopped parsley
salt and pepper
lemon wedges
Break cauliflower into flowerets. Cut each through the stem into 1/4″ slices; set aside.
Place the sesame seeds in frying pan over medium heat; cook, shaking the pan frequently, until seeds are golden; set aside.
In large frying pan add butter and onion and cook until onion is limp.
Add the cauliflower and water; cover and cook until just tender (about 10 minutes). Stir often.
Stir in green onions, parsley, sesame seeds, and salt & pepper to taste.
Cook, stirring for 1-2 minutes.
Turn onto a serving dish and pass lemon wedges to squeeze over. (optional)
Makes 3-4 large servings
