Clam Fritters

1 cup clams, minced

1 egg

1 tablespoon onion, diced

1 tablespoon parsley, minced

1 cup flour

vegetable oil

1/2 teaspoon celery salt

1/4 teaspoon red pepper

1/2 cup milk

1 tablespoon green pepper, diced

1 teaspoon baking powder

Combine all ingredients except oil and stir well.

Heat oil in skillet on high heat.

Drop mixture by teaspoon into hot oil.

Brown on both sides turning only once. Drain on paper towels.
