Yummy Pork Chops

4 pork chops (3/4″ thick)
fresh ground black pepper
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
1 clove chopped garlic (or more)

Heat a nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Sprinkle pepper on one side of pork chops. Add pork chops to pan, pepper side down. Cook pork chops approx 4 minutes on medium high heat, then turn and cook 6-7 minutes on medium heat.

Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, vinegar and cornstarch until well mixed. When pork chops are done, remove to a plate and keep warm. Add garlic to skillet and cook for about 30 seconds. Do not brown.

Add sauce mixture to pan. Bring to boil and gently simmer til sauce thickens. Pour sauce over pork chops.
