Picnic Slaw

1 medium head of cabbage

1 bell pepper

3 medium onions

1 jar of pimentos

1 pint of vinegar

2 cups of sugar

1 teaspoon of salt

1-1/2 teaspoon of celery seed

1-1/2 teaspoon of mustard seed

1 teaspoon of turmeric

Chop vegetables and put in a large mixing bowl.

Boil other ingredients for 5 minutes. Cool to lukewarm. Mix with vegetables.

Pour into bowl and refrigerate.

Best marinated overnight.
