  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons brandy extract
  • 1-1/2 cups cake flour
  • 1/2 cup ground pecans
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1-3/4 cups "M&;M's"® Chocolate Mini Baking Bits
  • 36 pecan halves


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy; add egg and brandy extract.
  2. Combine flour, ground pecans and nutmeg; blend into creamed mixture.
  3. Stir in "M &;M's"® Chocolate Mini Baking Bits.
  4. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets; top each with 1 pecan half.
  5. Bake 10 to 11 minutes or until edges turn light golden. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets.
