Molasses Butterballs
Ingredients
- 1 Cup butter
- 1/4 Cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 Cup molasses
- 2 1/4 Cup flour
- 2 Cups finely chopped pecans
- confectionery sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- In a large mixing bowl beat butter until soft. Add brown sugar and molasses and beat until fluffy. Add flour, salt and beat until well blended. Stir in pecans.
- Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place on an ungreased baking sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake 18 - 20 minutes.
- Roll in confectionary sugar while still hot.
