Enchilada Torte

1 lb. ground beef

1 onion, chopped

1 – 28 oz. can diced tomatoes (Can use 2 – 15 oz. cans Rotel)

1 – 15 oz. can tomato sauce

1 – 4 oz. can chopped green chili’s

1/2 pkg. taco seasoning

12 flour tortilla’s

1 lb. cheddar cheese, shredded
 
Combine ground beef, and onion; brown lightly. Add tomatoes, sauce, green chili’s, and taco seasoning. Simmer for 15 minutes.

Spread a thin layer of meat mixture in a 9×13 in baking dish. Cover with a layer of tortilla’s. Top with another layer of meat, then a layer of cheese. Repeat layers, ending with cheese.

Bake at 350° F. for 25 minutes. Serve with sour cream, salsa, and guacamole.
