Straccetti Di Manzo Con Aglio E Rosmarino
2 lbs. beef
8 cloves garlic, peeled and sliced
2 sprigs fresh rosemary or 1 tsp dried rosemary
5 Tbls. olive oil, divided use
Salt and pepper to taste
3/4 cup white wine
In large bowl, combine beef, garlic, rosemary, 2 tablespoons olive oil, and salt and pepper.
Marinate in the refrigerator for 6 to 8 hours if desired.
Heat remaining three tablespoons of olive oil over high heat in a large skillet.
When hot, add beef and cook, stirring occasionally for 2 to 3 minutes.
Place in slow cooker when browned and add white wine.
Cook for 8 hours on Low and serve with your choice of pasta.
Note: For beef use loin, sirloin or tenderloin, sliced.
