Raisin Bran Bread

1 package yeast

2 C. bread flour

1 1/2 C. raisin-bran cereal, right from the box

1/2 C. raisins

1/2 t. salt

1/4 t. baking soda

1 1/2  t. cinnamon

4 T. brown sugar, packed

2 T. butter

1 C. + 1 T. warm water

Add all ingredients in the order of your machine. Select white bread and push “start”. When finished remove from pan and cool on a wire rack.

Note: If you bread maker has an add fruit setting, add raisins then. Otherwise they will be chopped up if added at the beginning. You could also use dried fruit in place of the raisins.
